[Image Picker plugin] [Image Picker plugin] its crashing on ios app upon permission pop up – nscocoaerrordomain

We were having a similar issue and solved it by adding a {disable_popover: true} option to the getPictures() function as proposed here:

The getPictures() JavaScript code in the ImagePicker client action now is:

window.imagePicker.getPictures(
function(results) {
for (var i = 0; i < results.length; i++) {
console.log(‘Image URI: ‘ + results[i]);
}

Success(results);

}, function (error) {
console.log(‘Error: ‘ + error);
Fail(error);
},{ maximumImagesCount:$parameters.maximumImagesCount,
width: $parameters.width,
height: $parameters.height,
quality:$parameters.quality,
disable_popover: true
}
);

Hope this helps!

The error nscocoaerrordomain &errormessage says, it’s not valid JSON. By the way, why .mutableContainers? You are assigning the result to an immutable dictionary and don’t use NS… collection types and NSMutableURLRequest in Swift at all. I guess the issue is you are using a GET request but you pass (POST) parameters in the http body which doesn’t work. –

vadian

Use JSONSerialization.jsonObject(with: data!, options: nil) or JSONSerialization.jsonObject(with: data!). it will work –

Ankit Jayaswal

#Ankit Jayaswa, I tried with your code bro, but it doesn’t work. 🙁 –

Kawazoe Kazuke

Very probably your server is returning an error result which is not a JSON. What do you get with putting this before //parsing the response? print(String(data: data!, encoding: .utf8) ?? “???”) –

OOPer

Do you ming giving use let reponseString = String.init(data:data, encoding:.utf8)? Or at least check if it’s JSON valid on a JSON validator?

What does the error “The specified procedure cannot be found” mean?

nscocoaerrordomain &errormessage: Some users who have upgraded their system from Windows 10 to Windows 11 have started encountering problems when opening certain applications. The resulting error shows the following message: “There was a problem starting [filename].

The specified procedure could not be found.”. Some victims face a problem when trying to open a third party application. Others have difficulty accessing video files and photos through the Photos and Movies & TV apps. Some have also encountered the same error when trying to open the default Windows Defender to run a scan.

The information we have collected indicates that there are several main causes of this error – a corrupted file system, malware interference, a system crash, as well as other problems. We decided to put together all the solutions that have proven their effectiveness on the example of other victims of the problem. Unfortunately, many users noted only the temporary disappearance of the error message. The problem disappeared, but then returned some time after the solution. Many suspect that most of it depends on Microsoft themselves – they should release an update to fix some internal glitches that cause the error. Before this happens, try the solutions below.

1. Install the latest updates

As mentioned above, the “Could not find the specified procedure” error is usually related to internal problems in Windows 11. The operating system itself is new, which means it is reasonable to assume that the cause of the error may be hiding in the operating system itself. Depending on when you’re reading this guide, try checking your system for available updates – it’s possible that a fix has already been released and is waiting to be installed. You can do this by doing the following:

Click on the Launch button at the bottom of the desktop and select Settings .

Then go to Windows Update and click on Check for updates .

If updates are already found, just download and install them.

After that, restart your computer and check if the error appears again. If no new updates have been found yet, move on to the other solutions below.

2. Run file recovery commands

These commands below are designed to resolve issues related to missing or corrupted files. We will use the Windows command line, specially created for executing various commands. Follow these instructions below:

Click on the search magnifying glass and type CMD

Right-click on the found one and select Run as administrator . Agree with the action.

After opening the console, type these commands one by one, pressing Enter after each one.

gpupdate /force

sfc /scanfile=c:\windows\system32\ieframe.dll

sfc /scannow

When the repair process is complete, exit the console and restart your computer.

3. Scan your system for malware

Malware can be one of the causes of DLL errors. Various infections tend to interfere with DLLs and damage other parts of the system. If you’ve been using Windows 11 for some time now and think that it might be affected by unwanted software or malware, scan your system using standard Windows Defender or more advanced software. We recommend Malwarebytes, a reliable and time-tested antivirus that excels at detecting and eliminating potential malware. You can download it and access the full 14-day malware protection period using the button below.

4. Reinstall the problematic application.

If you’re having a problem with a specific app you downloaded from the Microsoft Store or other resources, try uninstalling it and reinstalling it. Here is how you can do it in Windows 11:

Click on the search magnifying glass and type Control Panel .

Open it and click on Uninstall programs under Programs . If you don’t see these options, make sure View is in the top right corner on Category .

So, you will now see a list of all installed programs. Right-click on the one you’re having problems with and click Uninstall .

After uninstalling the program, install it again and check if the same error message appears as before.
